In 2009 I was watching a lot of charts that were comparing the the decline from 2007 until 2009 with the period of the big depression. I didn t see any comparison with 1929 for a long time. It seems that the fear is of 2009 is the enthusiasm of 2013.
Lets compare the rally of 2011-2013 with the rally of 1927-1929. The chart is from 16. December 2013, just before the last FED meeting. At the moment we are following the last peak of January 1930, which would finally create a perfect copy of the move 1927-1929, in January 2014.
In 2014 i will post charts and comments more frequantly, maybe everyday... So stay tuned and a happy new year!
